Sgraffito designs~ Ancient Greek designs

Sgraffito was particularly popular in Ancient Greek pottery, especially during the 6th century BCE. Artists used sgraffito to create both decorative patterns and narrative scenes on vases, enhancing their visual appeal. This involves scratting away a layer of glaze to create a pattern. We used wax crayon and black paint mixed with soap to create a similar effect.
